Puppy Class Terms & Conditions

 

Class Details: The 5-week course covers: Basics, Jumping Up Prevention, Loose Lead Walking, Recall, Drop/Swap, Leave It, Fun Tricks, and guidance on common puppy challenges.

 

What to Bring:

Plenty of small, tasty treats (reward-based training only!)

Your puppy on a standard lead and harness (no retractable leads) - Breeds such as Dachshunds, we actually recommend collar & lead due to their backs, & to reward onto the ground.

A blanket or bed for your puppy to settle on

A favourite non-squeaky toy

Important Terms:

1. Vaccinations: All puppies must have received their second vaccinations before attending.

2. Health: Please let us know about any health conditions or injuries in advance, as some exercises may not be suitable for all puppies.

3. Training Tools: We only allow reward-based methods. No prong/pinch collars, choke chains, e-collars, or retractable leads. (Spare leads available if needed.)

4. Handlers: Each puppy must have a handler - more than one person can attend.

5. Accessibility: If you or your puppy’s handler have any mobility, vision, or hearing needs, please inform us before attending so we can accommodate you/them.

6. Before Class: We recommend avoiding walks before class to help your puppy stay focused and avoid overtiredness, as the class itself is mentally stimulating.

7. Respect: Please be respectful of others in class - children may be present.

8. Refunds: A Full Payment is require to secure your space. Payments are non-refundable unless we are able to fill the space with another booking. Each class is limited to 6 puppies for Belvoir & Comber, 5 puppies for Boucher.

9. Missed Sessions: Refunds are not available for missed sessions. However, class notes (including step-by-step guides) will be provided for any classes you’re unable to attend.
